Ir C.K. Chan
Ir Chan has started his career as a part-time lecturer since 2001 and has served in various
territory institutes. He majors in teaching subjects in electrical engineering,
project management, sustainable engineering and facility engineering for
critical services.
Ir Chan has gained extensive experience within different aspects of infrastructure
projects and as a Senior Engineer in an E&M consultant firm, mainly
involved in the data centre / financial institutions MEPF design projects
and working with companies such as Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, HSBC,
etc. He is now working in an international theme park and resort to maintain
facility support of critical facility and Network Communication Centre.
He unites learning with these key career experiences, allowing delegates
to gain essential insight into real-life work and scenarios.

Associate Professor Ir Dr. Samuel K. P. Lip
Dr. Lip is an Associate Professor (Building Services) of Chu Hai College of Higher Education, and has been a Lecturer (full time / part time) in the University of Hong Kong, City University of Hong Kong, HK Polytechnic University & VTC IVE, teaching students from Certificate to Master Degree levels since September 1995. He regularly gives CPD technical talks and seminars in various training organizations and corporations every month to peers & colleagues in industries at training bodies and corporations.
Dr. Lip is an Engineering Supervisor of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) for Scheme A training and has become an Assessor of Vocational Training Council (Qualification Framework, Recognition of Prior Learning).

Mr. Ian Ip
Mr. Ip has worked as a building services engineer with over 6 years
of experience in the design and execution of construction projects, and
testing and commissioning of E&M systems for commercial facilities
and mission-critical business in different countries and cities such as
Hong Kong, Chengdu, Shanghai, Taizhou, Shenzhen, Malaysia, Singapore,
Papua New Guinea, Philippines and India.
He is now working in an international theme
park and resort to develop and review the electrical and mechanical (E&M)
design solutions for enhancement and development projects, taking into
consideration of time, cost and specified quality standard requirements.

Joe Tang
Having more than 10
years of experience in mission-critical design, Mr. Tang was working on numerous
projects involving data centers, disaster recovery sites, trading floors
for multinational financial institutes and data centre providers in Hong
Kong, Taiwan, Shanghai, South Korea and India.
He specialises in master site planning, mission critical
infrastructure design, single point of failure study, cause and effect
analysis and integrated system test. Mr. Tang is now working in a multi-disciplines
consultancy providing sustainable design and green initiatives to different
sections in the Asia Pacific.

Prof. Keith C.C.
Chan
Prof. Chan
has over 35 years of experience working in Artificial Intelligence (AI),
Machine Learning (ML) and Data Analytics (DA). He began researching into
AI and ML during the second AI wave in the eighties and has been publishing
in these areas since then. Over the years, he has authored and co-authored
over 250 research publications in academic journals and conference proceedings.
He has developed many effective algorithms
in ML and DA using such computational intelligent techniques as fuzzy
logic, evolutionary computation and artificial neural networks and has
applied them effectively to solve different problems in business and finance,
healthcare, medical care and drug development.
Prof. Chan serves on the program committees
of over 20 conferences in AI and Bioinformatics every year. He graduated
with a B.Math. degree in Computer Science and Statistics and a M.A.Sc.
and Ph.D. degree in Systems Design Engineering from the University of
Waterloo in Canada in 1984, 1985 and 1989 respectively. Soon after graduation,
he joined the IBM Canada Laboratory as a software analyst before he returned
to the academia to join first Ryerson University in Toronto in 1993
and then the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1994, where he worked
at the Department of Computing until 2019. During the period from 2002
to 2008, he was the Head of his department.

Mr. Patrick Cheung
Patrick graduated from the Hong
Kong Polytechnic University with first class honors in Computing and
has over 18 years of experience as a software developer and manager. He
has also served the roles of software analyst and software architect.
For the last several years, he has been investigating into blockchain
and cryptocurrency and is very familiar with the technologies behind them.
Patrick has extensive experience in J2EE, Webservice, Ajax, software quality
management, software process improvement, etc.
